TOUR POLICIES & TIPS

PARKING - Please park on the property, in the grass, in front of the barn. Guests are not permitted to park across the street.

ACCESSIBILITY - Your safety and comfort are our top priorities, and we strive to accommodate all guests to the best of our ability within the constraints of our historical preservation efforts. Please be advised that Highland Farm features two flights of stairs, which may present difficulty for guests with mobility impairments. Due to its historical significance, Highland Farm maintains its original landscape, which may include uneven ground. We advise all visitors to exercise caution while traversing the property.

VISITOR WAIVER - In acknowledgement of these accessibility limitations, we kindly request that all visitors complete a waiver prior to their visit. This waiver is designed to ensure that guests are aware of the potential challenges posed by the property's layout and agree to visit at their own discretion.

DURATION - Both public and private/group tours typically last approximately 90 minutes.

BUS TOURS - Bus drop-off is on the street at the end of the driveway. There is no holding zone available for busses. Alternate bus parking is available at the park and ride lot on the corner of Rte. 202 and State Street. (approx. 1 mile from the museum)
